Location: Shoreham Airport , West Sussex
£ Dependant on experience

Purpose of Job
To provide technical support our customers with both Hardware and Online Interface enquiries

Skills

  • Customer facing experience Telephone based
  • Computer Hardware Networking, Microsoft Exchange & Small Business Server Experience
  • An understanding of basic electronics and DC Voltage systems would be useful.
  • Basic Web Design, .ASP, HTML, MySQL (not essential)
  • Windows based Hardware Programming Tools (training will be given)
  • Possible Stores and Dispatch process support.

Duration
Permanent or Part Time (3 Month Probation period)

Hours of work
9:00 – 5:30 Monday to Friday

Salary
Dependant on experience.

Paid Holidays
28 Days (Including 8 statutory and bank holidays)

Relationships
Internally within the business : Development team, Invoicing and Admin, Operations Director, Operations Manager

External: Customer contacts, development partners and admin contacts, B2B and B2C

Main Responsibilities

  • To maintain and support existing customers with technical enquiries
  • Report any bugs or issues with software in a timely fashion, monitor and reply to the customer
  • Effectively manage internal and external enquiries, produce regular progress reports for the management team
  • Use the Companies developed web based admin tools and Windows Based Applications to communicate with Hardware Modules
  • To ensure the company development process is followed at all times
  • Keep records of meetings, files, information and such like in an organised manner
  • Assist with the preparation and compiling of weekly and monthly reports for all customers and ensure that customers are kept aware of any planned maintenance of the system
  • Record and manage customer requests for change (RFCs) and identify any areas for possible improvement and development
  • Recommend new opportunities, systems and processes and improvements in operations and implement those approved by the management team
  • All other duties commensurate with the position
