Job Purpose:
To generate leads from own research and company marketing activity and follow through from initial sales pitch to despatch
Key Challenges:
Understanding the technical capabilities of the company products
Quick to familiarise yourself with an understanding of the maritime industry (no previous experience necessary)
Quick to convert opportunities into leads and then sales
To work as a key member in an establish sales team
Key Results: (Principal Accountabilities)
High qualified call activity
Accurate record keeping
Focus on set sales targets
Continuous self improvement and or review of sales process to achieve targets
Communicate and initiate new or potential sales avenues
Professional and diligent manner when representing company in face to face meetings
Positive and motivated when experiencing negative results
Reports to:
Sales and Marketing Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven track record in high pressure sales environment
Ability to work alone using own initiative
Experienced telesales techniques with good telephone manner
Good experience in closing sales
Excellent interpersonal skills
organizational skills
Creative writing and good English grammar
CRM system (ACT, Goldmine ) knowledge advantageous
