MarineTrack in Mumbai

Mumbai is now ready to impress its contemporaries, such as Paris, Fort Lauderdale, London, Cannes etc, by hosting its very own International Boat Show!

Over the last few days Bombay’s most wealthy have been streaming in to the Bandra-Curla complex, the venue for the first Mumbai International Boat Show.

MarineTrack went as an international trader with the BMF to attend this prestigious event to establish interest from this community. India has been observed as an important emerging potential market for MarineTrack the leisure marine sector is set to boom.

European businesses have been observing the growth trends over the last few years and are starting to see the potential. Stuart Nicholls, MT Managing Director commented on VOIP this week;
“India is an incredible phenomenon; Mumbai is where the money is and when they can sustain the infrastructure this industry will go through the roof!”

Mumbai boasts a beautiful coastline, a thriving economy with an estimated 83,000 Indians with assets over $1M, and growing at around 8% increase year on year. The infrastructure is still embryonic for this new industry, the country cant grow fast enough for its own good, but if Bombay could provide a Marina this market would be irresistible to Mumbai’s millionaires.

The Mumbai International Boat Show is a showcase for the world’s finest super yachts and other luxury products for the marine industry.
